<p>Mumbai: The campaigning for the assembly elections in Maharashtra as well as the second and final phase of Jharkhand assembly polls came to an end on Monday. </p><p>In Maharashtra, the high decibel contest between the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance and the ruling Mahayuti parties saw the wrestle on issues such as the Dharavi slum redevelopment, caste census etc.</p><p>Over 9.70 crore voters are eligible to cast their vote for as many as 4,136 candidates across 158 parties. As many as 1.23 crore registered voters will cast their votes at 14,218 polling stations.</p><p>Apart from that, bypolls will also take place in nine seats in the Uttar Pradesh assembly. Of the nine seats, elections to eight seats were necessitated by the election of incumbent MLAs to the Lok Sabha.
