Taking a dig at Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy BJP West Bengal president Dilip Ghosh said on Wednesday that Congress was treating Kumaraswamy in such a manner that “every morning he is saying that he will resign.”

“Congress is treating him (Kumaraswamy) in such a way that every morning he is saying that he will resign. But he will not step down,” said Ghosh. The Karnataka chief minister had recently said that he was ready to step down after some Congress MLAs said that Congress Legislature Party leader Siddaramaiah was their chief minister. Ghosh was addressing a party rally at Mathurapur in South 24 Parganas district.

The Bengal BJP chief also took a dig at JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda and said that nobody talks about him as he is “rejected.”
“Nobody talks about Deve Gowda. He has been rejected and now his son is threatening to resign every morning,” said Ghosh. He also dubbed Deve Gowda and Kumaraswamy as “one is retired and another is tired.”
