Gearing up to take on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Congress will roll-out its three stage, multi-lingual campaign for the Lok Sabha polls early next month.

The three-stage campaign of the Congress will focus on highlighting the promises made by Modi and the reality apart from the assurances made by Rahul Gandhi such as the Minimum Income Guarantee and regional issues specific to a state.

Instructions have been issued to the state units of the Congress to ensure translation of the campaign material in the respective regional language to create a maximum impact on the party's “positive message” on the voters.

Nearly half-a-dozen advertisement agencies, including FCB-Ulka, Leo Burnett, Design Boxed, Crayons, have made presentations to the Congress leadership on the campaign and a final decision is expected to be taken next week.

If all loose ends are tied, the party would launch its Lok Sabha campaign formally at the Congress president's rally in Dhule, Maharashtra, on March 1.

Rahul is scheduled to travel to Tirupati on Friday where he will pay obeisance to Lord Balaji at the shrine on the Tirumala Hills and later address a rally.

The Andhra Pradesh Congress has embarked on the 'Prathyeka Hoda Bharosa Praja Yatra' on Tuesday and Rahul will join the party leaders at Tirupati on Friday.

Rahul will address a rally in Guwahati on February 26 where he will share the stage with top Opposition leaders against the Modi government's plan to push for the Citizenship (Amendment) bill.

The Congress president will then chair a meeting of the Congress Working Committee in Ahmedabad on February 28.

State Congress units have been asked to ensure placement of hoardings, radio jingles, television and print advertisements, arrange for publicity vans with LED screens for the duration of the campaign.
