Death for killing wife

 
The incident happened on October 10, 2007, when Valsala, a resident of  Vattiyoorkavu, was hacked to death by her husband Lawrence.

Lawrence was advised by someone that it would be easier to avoid repaying a bank loan if the loanee was insane. He was also having an affair with another woman. On the ill-fated day, Lawrence trailed Valsala since morning. He committed the crime when she was in an isolated area.
