In his first visit to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) headquarters after becoming the prime minister 11 years ago, Narendra Modi described the Sangh as the ‘banyan tree' of India's immortal culture on Sunday. Modi became the second sitting PM to visit the RSS headquarters in Nagpur. Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday sounded the poll bugle in Bihar and unveiled schemes and laid the foundation stones for projects worth over Rs 800 crore on the occasion of International Cooperative Day. Shah also remotely inaugurated a makhana processing unit at the Fishermen's Cooperative Society in the Darbhanga district.
