<p>Bengaluru: The Kolar police have registered an FIR against the vice-chancellor of Bengaluru North University (BNU) under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act 2015 and also under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023 (U/s-356(2).</p><p>Manjunatha R, working as guest faculty at the BNU, has filed a private complaint before the District Sessions Court in Kolar. The vice-chancellor is harassing me as I belong to the SC community,” the complaint stated.</p>
