<p>The High Court on Thursday dismissed a criminal petition filed by Chamarajpet MLA Zameer Ahmed Khan for quashingof the proceedings against National Travels owned by him in the magistrate court. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The Regional Transport Officer (RTO) had filed an FIR against National Travels for having two buses with the same registration number. One bus was parked in the shed and the other was used as a tourist vehicle. <br /><br />The complaint stated that the bus operator also evaded tax for many years and cheated the government. Justice Pradeep D Waingankar dismissed Khan’s petition after the prosecution submitted there was enough evidence against the operator. <br />DH News Service</p>
