<p>Bengaluru: In an effort to ensure supply of continuous drinking water to every household in Bengaluru, a first-of-its-kind online initiative in the country will bring Bureau of Indian Standards-certified water to the doorstep, Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) Chairman Ram Prasath Manohar V said in a statement released on Thursday.</p>.<p>This comes as part of the Sanchari Cauvery 'Cauvery on Wheels' programme.</p>.<p>"Water scarcity intensifies during summer, due to which private water tankers charge indiscriminately for drinking water. At the end of the day, this pressing issue hits the common people.
