<p>Theatre groups Perch and Rafiki will present ‘How to Skin a Giraffe’ at Ranga Shankara in JP <br />Nagar. <br /><br /></p>.<p>It is inspired by the play ‘Leonce and Lena’ by the iconic German playwright, Georg Buchner. <br />It is considered one of the genuinely comic pieces in the German language and is Buchner’s only humourous work. <br /><br />Directed by Rajiv Krishnan, ‘How to Skin a Giraffe’ talk about two dynasties, a marriage of convenience, an escape and a chance encounter. <br /><br />It will be performed on September 23, 7.30 pm and on September 24-25, 3.30 pm and 7.30 pm. Tickets are available at www.bookmyshow.com and at Ranga Shankara. <br /><br />Perch will also present ‘Jujubee’ on September 24-25, 11 am at Ranga Shankara. <br />‘Jujubee’ is a fun play that engages children and adults alike and has a fantastic story filled with action, colourful masks, larger-than- life puppets, music and dance. <br /><br />Both plays have been staged in several venues across the country and have been well-appreciated by the audience. <br /><br /></p>
