The Governor stalled the appointment of Justice Bannurmath unnecessarily, he told mediapersons here on Wednesday. "Many judges of the Supreme Court and High Courts also owning more than one site.
What right does he (the Governor) have to question it (their sites)? Will he pass strictures against them all?" he said. When asked why Yeddyurappa was particular about appointing Justice Bannurmath to the ombudsman, he quipped: “Why not?” The government followed all the procedures in recommending him for the anti-corruption body.
