'Can anyone honeytrap those with integrity?' asks Hunsur MLA Harish Gowda

Mysuru: Hunsur MLA G D Harish Gowda questioned as to how anyone could ‘honey-trap’ politicians who claim to have integrity.

Speaking to reporters in Mysuru on Wednesday, Gowda, a JD(S) leader and also son of MLA and former minister G T Devegowda, said, if our attitude and opinion towards women is right, there will be no crime.

“The honey-trap issue should not have come up in the Assembly for discussion. Those who had a problem should have complained to the authorities concerned, they will get it solved. What message does it give to young MLAs?” Gowda asked.

MDCC Bank bankrupt

Harish Gowda said the Mysuru DCC Bank has gone bankrupt, and only favored farmers are getting the loans. “The farmers are divided as Congress, JD(S) and BJP farmers. The officials are not listening to the MLAs. Even ruling Congress MLAs have no say,” he said.

Conspiracy

“The election to the DCC Bank in Mysuru is not being held as part of a conspiracy to not allow me to become president. In the interest of the farmers, I will stay away from the election. Let them hold the election,” he appealed.
