Court has given its verdict on Prajwal, won’t react on it: Nikhil Kumaraswamy

Dharmapur: JD(S) Youth wing state president Nikhil Kumaraswamy, reacting to special court's verdict sentencing former MP Prajwal Revanna to life imprisonment in a rape case, said that everyone should accept the court's decision and that there's no need to interpret or analyse it.

"The court has given its verdict. The JD(S) leadership had suspended him (Prajwal) from the party when the allegations of rape surfaced. I cannot say more on the issue," Nikhil told reporters here.

The special court for MPs/MLAs on Saturday sentenced Prajwal to life imprisonment in the case of sexual abuse of a domestic help at a farm house in Hassan district.
