The duo was en route from Bolyar to Melkar when they noticed two individuals wearing helmets on a stationary scooter near the Deraje bus stop, facing Bolyar. He denied witnessing or being part of any such attack and also refuted claims that a crowd had gathered at the spot. Based on his statement, a case was registered at the Bantwal Rural Police Station under Section 125 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).</p><p>Meanwhile, when the Police Sub-Inspector visited the scene, a few locals questioned the delay in action regarding last week’s attempted murder case. They also pointed out that while cattle being transported during Bakrid were seized at Sajipanadu, no similar urgency was shown in the earlier case. Investigators are now examining if there is any connection between the attempted murder incident and the cattle seizure. Further legal steps will be taken based on the findings of the ongoing probe.</p>
