<p>Bengaluru: The state government on Thursday approved Rs 880.68 crore for procurement of 890 drugs, tablets and chemicals for the year 2025-2026.</p><p>Among the 890 drugs, 539 are essential drugs and 351 are desirable drugs. This list includes 568 existing drugs and 322 newly introduced drugs, aligned with emerging clinical needs and in adherence to Indian Public Health Standards (IPHS) and National List of Essential Medicines (NLEM).</p><p>Special support Hemophilia care is to ensure timely availability of life-saving treatment and continuous care.
