<p>New Delhi: Karnataka BJP MPs Tejaswi Surya and Brijesh Chowta were on Saturday chosen by the Modi government to be part of multi-party delegations being sent to various countries to explain India’s stance on terrorism emanating from Pakistan.</p><p>Surya, the Bangalore South MP, will be part of the delegation led by senior Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, which will be headed to the United States, Panama, Guyana, Brazil and Colombia.</p><p>Dakshina Kannada MP Chowta will be part of the delegation led by DMK MP Kanimozhi to Spain, Greece, Slovenia, Latvia and Russia.</p><p>Each of the seven delegations, which will be visiting 32<strong> </strong>countries and the European Union, will have retired diplomats accompanying them to provide expertise.</p><p>Former Foreign Secretary Harsh Shringla, who was also former Ambassador to the US, is part of the delegation going to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Algeria.</p>.Govt names 59 for multi-party delegations; only one of four suggested by Cong accepted.<p>Former US Ambassador Taranjit Singh Sandhu will be heading to the US Panama, Guyana, Brazil and Colombia with the delegation while former French Ambassador Jawed Ashraf and former Nepal Ambassador Manjeev S Puri will be part of the delegation going to DSpain, Greece, Slovenia, Latvia and Russia.</p><p>Pankaj Saran, former Deputy National Security Adviser and High Commissioner to Bangladesh, will go to the United Kingdom, France, Germany, EU, Italy and Denmark.</p><p>Mohan Kumar, also a former French Ambassador, will be part of the delegation going to Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Singapore</p><p>Former Japanese Ambassador Sujan Chinoy (UAE, Liberia, Congo, Sierra Leone) and former MEA spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin (Egypt, Qatar, Ethiopia, South AfricaAmb Syed Akbaruddin) are also part of the delegation.</p>
