‘No sites were distributed in last 15 years’

The BJP MLA in the last 15 years has not distributed any site for the poor in the constituency, alleged Malnad Area Development Board Chairman T D Raje Gowda.

He was speaking during the campaign for the Narasimharajapura Town Panchayat election.

Raje Gowda said title deeds have not been distributed for those who have constructed houses on government land. The people of the constituency were denied of benefits from the government.

“After I became MLA, I have sent a list of beneficiaries for title deeds to the deputy commissioner to approve. The process will be completed after the model code of conduct ends,” he said.

“The Lok Sabha election results will not have any impact on the polls to the urban local bodies in the state. Houses will be constructed for the poor at the Ashraya Layout in Narasimharajapura town. The Honnekoodige lift irrigation project which aims at supplying water to Narasimharajapura town will also be completed,” he said.
