<p>The painting exhibition by the Shanthinikethana Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya has been attracting the art lovers. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The students have used various forms of paintings such as pencil sketch, charcoal work, water colour, traditional style, oil painting, acrylic on canvas, pastel on paper to exhibit their talent. <br /><br />Speaking to presspersons, Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya Principal Vishwakarma Acharya said “the paintings have been exhibited by the artists as a part of Independence Day celebrations. The painting exhibition will be held till August 22.”<br /><br />Shalini has come out with vulture, king fisher, cranes in her pencil sketch.<br /><br />Shubha, another student had drawn deer enjoying the beauty of nature in charcoal. <br /><br />N Arun’s water colour painting, N A Sowmya’s traditional Rajastani woman swaying the traditional fan to beat the heat, Benne Krishna, a woman reading love letter remembering her beau and other paintings have been attracting the connoisseurs of art. <br /><br />Palivivek has brought out the scene of flowers in the lake, waves lashing boulders beside the sea beautifully on the canvas. <br /><br />‘Kalinga mardana’ drawn in Mysore traditional style by H R Kavya was another centre of attraction. <br /><br />H U Swathi, Vandana, Krishna, Jagadish, Shalini, Basavaraju, Kumar, Pannaga, Shilpa, Venkanna Char, Pavan Anoop, Arun, Kirankumar, Naveen, Vishwakarmachar of the Shanthinikethana Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya have also exhibited their paintings. <br /></p>
