Ram Temple:Pejawar Seer for ordinance

Pejawar mutt seer Vishwesha Teertha Swami on Friday said that Ram Mandir should be built within a year.

Speaking at a meeting here, the pontiff said the government could pass an ordinance in this regard.

He also appealed Supreme Court to announce the verdict immediately. The public opinion should be considered.

Asserting that the central government needed to act, the pontiff said that the central government should not wait for the Supreme Court’s verdict.

“Modi government has complete majority unlike the Vajpayee government. The opposition Congress will not oppose the move to build Ram Mandir as the Lok Sabha elections are approaching. The Congress is neutral in the issue now. There is a positive situation for the construction of Ram Mandir,” he said.

He expressed dissatisfaction over BJP led NDA government as it was unable to take a quick decision.

“Ram Mandir should not be limited for political purpose. The saints are least interested in elections, they are only interested in the construction of the temple,” he added.
