<p>Mangaluru: Heavy rains lashed various parts of Dakshina Kannada district from Monday late night. The IMD has predicted scattered heavy to very heavy and isolated extreme rainfall along the coastal Karnataka and adjacent ghat districts on May 20 and 21.</p><p>Further, IMD and Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre have sounded red alert on May 21 and orange alert on May 22 and 23.</p><p>District disaster management authority president, and in charge, Dr K Anandh has advised fishermen not to venture into deep sea for fishing. Parents have been asked not to allow their children to the low-lying areas, riversides and the sea. </p>.Rain fury: Bengaluru sinks again.<p>All the incident commanders have been instructed to remain alert and respond to all the complaints pertaining to rain woes. Belthangady, Puttur, Bantwal, and Sullia taluks too experienced good rainfall.</p><p>A tree was uprooted near Lalbagh in Mangaluru. The labourers are clearing the fallen tree.
