<p class="title">Ramya Shetty, a close aide of Shiroor seer late Lakshmivara Theertha Swamiji, is in the custody of Udupi police for the last three days. Dakshina Kannada police confirmed this news on Tuesday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Ramya Shetty was handed over to Udupi police by Belthangady police on Sunday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">She was taken into custody at Venoor, according to Dakshina Kannada (DK) police.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Ramya was missing since the death of the seer.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Udupi police sought the help of the DK district police in tracking down Ramya Shetty.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The car in which Ramya was travelling, had a flat tyre near Aladangady temple on Sunday afternoon. Police said that there were four people in the car. Ramya was reportedly wearing a burkha.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Ramya, who was a close aide of the late seer for the last few years hails from Sullia in DK district.</p>.<p>However, IGP (West Zone) Arun Chakravarthy, on Tuesday afternoon, categorically stated that Udupi police had not arrested anyone in connection with the mysterious death of the Shiroor seer Lakshmivara Theertha Swamiji. </p>.<p>He was in Udupi to review the progress of the investigations in the seer death case and addressed reporters. He later left for Hiriyadka Shiroor Moola Mutt with Superintendent of Police Lakshmana Nimbaragi.</p>
