According to a press release issued by the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Management Centre, the 2.2 magnitude micro tremor was recorded at five observatories across Karnataka.</p>.<p>Residents of villages around Agumbe said that tremors lasted for around six seconds at 1.30 am, Sunday. The district administration has issued a warning about more tremors.</p>.<p>Similar tremors were experienced in several villages under Varahi dam command area in Hosanagar taluk.</p>.<p>According to local residents utensils fell off the shelves following tremors in villages such as Hulikal, Mastikatte, Yadur, Sulagodu, Nidagodu, Hebbalabylu, and Megaravalli. Shivakumar Jois, a resident of Yadur, said that terrified people ran out of the houses and spent the whole night outside.</p>
