Mysuru: CCTV video footage of a leopard sighted within Mysuru city which went viral on social media created anxious moments among Mysureans. It was allegedly sighted around CFTRI and Yadavagiri region within Mysuru city.

DCF wildlife, Mysuru division, I B Prabhu Gowda claimed that it was a fake footage and it was not authentic. There is no date or time in the footage. There is no confirmation as to when exactly it was sighted and where exactly it was sighted to take up operation. If people provide authentic details, they would press the team and take up operation. People need not panic, he said.
