<p>Mumbai: Amid the call to boycott trade with Turkey and stoppage of supply of apples in Market Yard of Pune, a trader has received a threatening voice message from Pakistan. </p><p>The threat message came to Suyog Zende, a trader at the Agriculture Produce Market Committee, commonly known as Market Yard in Pune city. </p><p>"Around 9 this morning, I got calls on my phone but could not pick up the phone as I was busy… Later I received a voice note message. The message contained slurs for India and said we can not do any harm to Pakistan or Turkey. I sent a voice note responding to the threats,” Zende said. </p>.Film industry calls for boycott on Turkey amid India-Pakistan tensions.<p>As a protest, traders at Market Yard on Thursday threw apples imported from Turkey on the road. </p><p>Meanwhile, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnaviscongratulated traders in Pune for adopting a 'nation first' stand by stopping the import of apples and dry fruits from Turkey to protest its support to Pakistan.<br>"I congratulate all traders who have decided to boycott imports from Turkey…I welcome their stand of nation first,” he said. </p><p>“There is no need to fall prey to empty threats. The government will provide protection, and everyone should remain firm on the 'nation first' stand," he added.</p>
