<p>Two cousin sisters from Uttar Pradesh's Muzaffaranagar district, who went reportedly missing for many days have returned home expressing their interest to live together. </p><p>As per local media reports, they got married to each other in a temple and arrived at the area police station, hoping for a life together.</p><p>The two girls walked into the police station on August 7 with one dressed in the attire of groom while the other had a sindoor in the parting of her hair.</p>.Two Himachal brothers marry same woman to adopt dying tradition.<p>The father of one of the girls, registered a complaint stating that her daughter was lured away by her cousin and even had apprehensions about her being 'sold through' the IGRS registration portal.</p><p>The Lucknow police were able to connect with the missing girls. At the police station, the family member of the girls tried asking them to reconsider their decision and stay back home, but in vain. </p><p>As per the report, the cousin dressed as a groom told officials that the girl with her is now her wife. She said they are already living like a married couple and intend to continue in the same way.</p><p>As per the report, they are in a relationship for past one and a half years. Before they were 'sisters' and now they consider themselves as 'companions' and have fixed their decision to spend rest of their lives together.</p><p>The girls were escorted from the police station as per the assured safety by the police.</p>
