They also raised anti-SAD slogans. Many of them who were whisked away even boycotted the message of the head priest of the Golden Temple Giani Gurbachan Singh that is broadcast this day each year. <br /><br />Radical groups had given a call for bandh in the holy city on Monday. Thousands of security personnel, many in civil attire, were positioned to prevent any untoward incident. Security forces held a flag march ahead of the event. Ceremonial prayers were held to pay tributes to those killed in the military operation to flush out militants from the Golden Temple in 1984.</p>
