Parliament Highlights | Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha adjourned for the day as ruckus refuses to die down
The Parliamentary logjam continued in both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha, with the former barely functioning. The lower house of the Parliament was adjourned till 12 soon after proceedings began at 11 am. Upon resumption, the House had to be adjourned till 2 pm and then adjourned till 3 pm. The Rajya Sabha, meanwhile, saw the BJP-led NDA and Congress-led I.N.D.I.A. lock horns, with the former demanding discussions on the alleged Soros-Congress link and the latter seeking debate on the Adani issue. While RS Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar tried to get the Leader of the House and Opposition -- J P Nadda and Mallikarjun Kharge -- to his chambers to overcome the hurdle, the latter was less than willing, without saying his piece on the floor of the house, given that Nadda had gotten the opportunity to rip into the grand old party in the Rajya Sabha. Both the Houses now have been adjourned till tomorrow as ruckus refused to die down. That is all for the day. Thank you for staying with us.
