<p>Amid the fluid political situation in Maharashtra involving the fate of the <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/national/west/mva-hints-at-leadership-change-in-sena-bjp-govt-1212540.html" target="_blank">Shiv Sena-BJP alliance</a> government in the wake of impending <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/tag/supreme-court" target="_blank">Supreme Court</a> judgement, veteran politician and NCP supremo Sharad Pawar refused to drawn into the speculative zone on Maharashtra’s political situation - saying that he would comment only after the Supreme Court verdict.</p>.<p>The development comes at a time when Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is in village Dare in the hill station of Mahabaleshwar in Satara for personal engagements even as Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is in neighbouring Karnataka for a poll campaign and thereafter is slated to visit Mauritius. </p>.<p>There are reports of leadership change or swap in Maharashtra - but if one goes by the numbers and the present equation, there is no immediate threat to the BJP.</p>.<p>On the other hand the posters state’s Leader of Opposition on Assembly <a href="https://www.deccanherald.com/national/national-politics/ajit-pawars-ambition-to-become-cm-stirs-row-in-maharashtra-1212237.html" target="_blank">Ajit Pawar</a> continues to pop up at various places describing him as the “future Chief Minister” in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Nashik and Nagpur after the first one surfaced in Osmanabad. </p>.<p>However, Senior Pawar said his nephew had told his supporters not to do so. “Ajit Pawar himself has said that putting his posters terming him as the future Chief Minister is madness,” he said. </p>.<p>To another question, he said he was not aware of any proposal by Uddhav Thackeray that an NCP leader should become the chief minister if the MVA wins the next assembly elections. “If Sanjay Raut is saying this, he is a journalist.....the media knows more than we do.
