Saroja Devi Funeral: 'Kannadathu Paingili' laid to rest with state honours

Legendary actress B Saroja Devi was laid to rest with full state honours in her native village of Dashavara. Her final rites were conducted in line with Vokkaliga customs.

Veteran actor B  Saroja Devi’s last rites were held on Tuesday at her Dashavara farmhouse in Channapatna, Bengaluru.

The mortal remains of the actor were taken in a long procession from her residence in Bengaluru to Dashavara.

The funeral was conducted with full state honours, following Vokkaliga customs, as declared by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
