Amit Shah asks Oppn to clear stand on Ram Temple

BJP president Amit Shah said his party was ready to fight the combined opposition in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.

BJP president Amit Shah on Saturday asked the Congress, Samajwadi Party (SP) and BSP to clear their stand on the Ram Temple issue.

Addressing party workers in Uttar Pradesh's Gajraula town, about 400 km from here, Shah also said his party was "ready" to fight the combined opposition in the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls.

"Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav and Mayawati should clear their stand on Ram Temple...they should tell the people whether they want the temple or not," the BJP chief said.

Shah listed the provisions of the Interim Budget presented in Parliament by Union minister Piyush Goyal on Friday and said that the BJP government had taken care of every section of the society.

He also urged the people to "rise above castes" and support the saffron party for development of the state and country.

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the law and order situation in the state had improved during the BJP regime.
