TMC launches music video for Lok Sabha polls

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday launched a campaign music video in support of her party, the Trinamool Congress (TMC). The video lasting slightly longer than two minutes was launched on her Facebook, Twitter and other social media pages.

The video titled "Maa, Mati, Manush" (Mother, Soil and the People) depicts a peaceful West Bengal and people distressed by riots and violence in other parts of the country.

It also asks “riot-mongers” to stay away from Bengal.

“I am very happy to share the new music video "Maa, Mati, Manush’ ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections,” stated Banerjee.

Earlier, TMC had launched a video series titled "Pradhan Mantri Hisab Do," which compared the benefits of social welfare schemes of the Centre and the state government.
