Last Updated 08 February 2019, 12:20 IST

Amidst speculation that the BJP is indulging in Operation Lotus, Congress workers staged a protest infront of the luxury hotel near Gurugram where nearly 100 BJP MLA are staying for the past two days on Wednesday morning.

A group of workers from Haryana Congress holding placards staged a dharna in front of ITC hotel near here.

Shouting slogans against the BJP, the protestors demanded the BJP MLAs to vacate hotels and go to their respective constituencies.

Soon police rushed the spot and dispersed all protestors.

Nearly 100 legislators from BJP were staying in the hotel. State unit chief B S Yeddyurappa held a meeting with legislators in the morning and will said good news will come soon. He also requested MLAs to be patient.

He also hinted them that their stay in hotel may prolong for few more days.

Despite BJP leaders being tight-lipped about operation Kamala, it is evident that the BJP too worried about the counter operation by JD (S)-Congress.

The party leaders hinted that their legislators may have to stay back a few more days in the national capital.

Except for regular guests, others were strictly not allowed inside the hotel. Even security staff of the hotel stopped the media personnel at hotel gate.

Apart from MLAs, some of the party MPs are also staying in the hotel.
