Job aspirants on stir in Kerala intensified the stir on Monday with three of them going on an indefinite hunger stir in front of government secretariat

The agitators, who cleared the recruitment tests of Kerala Public Service Commission to civil police officer and last grade servants posts, decided to intensify the stir as the Kerala government had not given any firm assurance to their demand for extending the term of the rank lists and give postings to at least one-fifth rank holders.

Meanwhile, Congress MLAs K Sabarinadhan and Shafi Parambil, who were staging indefinite hunger stir to express solidarity with the stir by job aspirants, were hospitalised on Monday after their health worsened. Three Youth Congress leaders started a hunger strike.
