Organic cultivation attracts onlookers

Organic farm flourishes in as many as three acres of land in Alva’s College campus in Vidyagiri.

The organically grown bottle gourd, bitter gourd, ridge gourd, pumpkin, gherkin, cucumber and other vegetables were drawing huge crowds to ‘Krishi Siri’.  This year too, the agri-fair featured an exhibition of flowers and fruits, vegetable carvings, stalls featuring various products such as tree-climbing machine and other modern equipment that helps farmers.

Alva’s 'Krishi Siri' is being organised from the past four years in Vidyagiri.
