Last Updated 29 March 2021, 04:49 IST

The mobile application ecosystem particularly the social media segment is a highly competitive market; when a company makes the debut with unique creative features, it gains instant traction and becomes a sensation overnight. However, the real fight for dominance starts there with established players, who bring similar features to their apps. Like Stories of Snapchat was copied in all major apps including Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and Twitter.

Now, Snapchat is planning to introduce the Remix feature, similar to TikTok's duet, reported renowned tipster Alessandro Paluzzi.

This new feature lets users reuse the friend's Story and reply with custom background and caption. Paluzzi also shared the screen-shot (see below).

Snapchat is currently testing the aforementioned feature and once assured of weeding out bugs, it is expected to roll it out to the public soon.
Arch-rival Instagram too is testing the same 'Remix' feature for users to reply to friends' Stories.

In a related development, Clubhouse, a drop-in audio-only app, which has become a huge hit on Apple App Store, is reportedly planning to make its debut on Google Play Store in two months.
