Somdev, Sania in round two

In the second round, Somdev will be up against 19th seed Marcos Baghdatis of Cyprus, who received a bye in the first round.

There was good news for India in the women’s doubles as well with the pair of Sania Mirza and her Russian partner Elina Vesnina winning 6-4, 6-1 against the Czech duo of Andrea Hlavackova and Lucie Hradecka in the first round.
