The Opposition, by not accepting the outcome of the Thursday’s trust vote, is insulting the House. Any member of House can file a breach of privilege petition”, State BJP spokesperson Ayanur Manjunath told reporters in Bangalore.Opposition parties on Thursday had stated that Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa’s second trust vote victory was ‘transitory and temporary’ and just a ‘semi-final’ win, as they pinned hopes on a favourable ruling from the Karnataka High Court over disqualification of the 16 legislators. The BJP had won with 106 votes to 100 against in a diluted State Assembly.

Manjunath said the Opposition parties were also discussing matters that amounted to sub judice.Replying to queries, Manjunath admitted that the recent rebellion in the party was due to the dilution of the party ideology. However, it was only a transition phase and will pass over, he added.
