A two and a half year old elephant died on Somanathapur Forest beat under Bandipur National Park here on Saturday.
According to the Forest department personnel, the elephant suffered from severe diarrhoea.
Vetenerian Dr Chetan performed the postmortem and Range Forest Officer Puttaswamy visited the spot.
