Go Ru Channabasappa meets flood victims

Akhila Bharatha Sharana Sahitya Parishat advisor Go Ru Channabasappa met flood victims who have taken shelter at Maithri Bhavana relief camp in Madikeri and instilled confidence in them.

He appealed to the victims not to lose hope in life. The government should solve the problems on a humanitarian basis, he said.

He said the flood victims should give priority to imparting education to their children.

Sahitya Parishat National President Basavaraja Sadara said the parishat has been extending a helping hand to the victims in Kodagu. The parishat working committee members will raise funds and hand it over to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
