MP assures to solve problems of Kodagu

Speaking to presspersons, he said “Kodagu district has not seen development for the last several years. As a result, the problems of road, drinking water, lack of facilities to tribals, wild elephant menace continue to haunt the district. There is lack of doctors in district hospitals,’ he added.

“The ruling party elected representatives are showing lack of interest towards solving the problems. People are also ready to fight for a cause. I will bring the same to the notice of the government,” he added.

Town Youth Congress President D C Dhruvakumar submitted a memorandum to MP urging him to solve the problems faced by the district. The delegation included M S Poovaiah, C P Kaverappa, M K Poovaiah, B R Vijayachandra, C K Prithvinath, Mohan, Sayinath Nayak, K B Prathap and Naushad.

Town Panchayat President Kanthi Belliappa also spoke.
