JOIN USMandeera, Tambukutheera, Blue team, Odiyanda, Kaliyanda, Mandeyanda and Cheppudira teams have entered the next round of Highlanders Cup and Warriors Champion Cup hockey tournament organised by The Highlanders Family Club at General K S Thimayya Stadium in Napoklu on Wednesday.
In a match between Mandeera and Channapanda, Mandeera team notched up a 3-1 victory. Madu Biddappa, Preetham Biddappa and Shareen sounded the board while Channapanda’s Prashanth Bheemaiah scored a goal.
Tambukutheera steamrolled Kalachanda in a lop-sided 6-0. Bopanna sounded the board thrice while Deepu Changappa scored two goals and Sharan scored a goal.
In a match between Blue and Orange team, Blue team won by 1-0. Odiyanda edged past Mallanjeera with a score of 3-1. Kaliyanda defeated Mandepanda by 2-1.
Other results: Mandeyanda beat Markonda 1-0; Cheppudira beat Areyada 4-0.
