Mysuru gets its second Kendriya Vidyalaya

Ministry of Human Resources Development has sanctioned a new Kendriya Vidyalaya to the city.

At present Kendriya Vidyalaya is functioning at Siddharth Nagar here.

The second institution in the city will commence from the academic year 2018-19 at Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran (BRBNM) campus.

The new KVS is a sponsor of BRBNM. The Ministry has asked the Mudran authorities to construct a permanent building as per specifications of KVS.

The HRD officers have asked BRBNM authorities to remit the budget amount of recurring and non-recurring expenditure in advance instalments to Deputy Commissioner, KVS.

The admissions will be done as per rules prescribed by the KVS from time to time.
