<p class="title">Actor Sumalatha has said that she would contest the Lok Sabha elections from Mandya and a formal announcement in this regard would be made in Bengaluru on Monday.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Speaking to reporters during her district tour on Sunday, Sumalatha said that she had toured across the district seeking opinion of the people.</p>.<p class="bodytext">"I have met a lot of farmers, women and youths during my visit in the district. Everyone has treated me with a lot of affection and expressed their opinions. Ambareesh’s fans are behind me. BJP leaders have not yet expressed their opinion on supporting me in the elections. I had sought the support of veteran leader S M Krishna. Everything will fall in place soon”, she said.</p>
