Yeddyurappa misses son Raghavendra's nomination filing

State BJP President B S Yeddyurappa could not accompany his son and BJP candidate for Shivamogga Lok Sabha constituency B Y Raghavendra while filing nomination papers as the helicopter he was slated to board from Bengaluru could not take off due to some technical snag.

Party sources confirmed that Yeddyurappa, former chief minister S M Krishna were expected to arrive in Shivamogga by air around 12:40 pm. But they could not come due to the technical snag.

BJP candidate filed nomination papers to the district election officer KA Dayananda. He was accompanied by his wife Tejaswini Raghavendra, MLAs H Halappa, K S Eshwarappa and MLC S Rudre Gouda.
