Collecting fridge magnets? This one takes a dig at Bengaluru’s under-construction infrastructure, which doesn’t seem anywhere close to completion despite years since its initiation. So far, some commuters have posted pictures of the incomplete Ejipura flyover or drafted letters highlighting the long-pending work, inconvenience and anticipation. However, the internet is now talking about one quirky post.
An X user shared visuals of 'fridge magnets' dedicated to the unfinished infrastructure project. She noted that the design was customised. "I’ve had a loooonngggg association with the Ejipura flyover, had to get this done," she wrote on the social media platform.
She further shared that she got another such magnet to her collection, one titled 'Basavanagudi'.
"Got 2 custom fridge magnets done After contemplating for quite a bit between Basavanagudi, Jayanagar, and Bengaluru, I decided to go ahead with Basavanagudi, because it is love," read the post which quickly caught attention of users and went viral.

Ejipura project
Work on the Ejipura project started in 2017 and was originally slated to be completed within a couple of years. However, it picked up pace only last year and has reportedly received a new deadline of June 2026. Once ready, the a 2.38-km-long elevated corridor would attempt to make commute easier on the Inner Ring Road and the Koramangala Kendriya Sadan.
