
Union Home Minister Amit Shah with Karnataka President B Y Vijayendra

New Delhi: The state BJP leaders delegation led by party state unit president B Y Vijayendra on Monday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah and appraised "increased" attoricities against Hindus and their places of worshipping including Dharmasthala.
The delegation comprising Union Food and Consumer Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi, Leader of Opposition in Assembly R Ashoka, Leader of Opposition in Legislative Council Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, MPs Brijesh Chowta, Kota Srinivas Poojary Belthangadi MLA Harish Poonja. They were with Shah for more than 20 minutes.
Emerging out of the meeting, Vijayendra told media that the delegation appraised increased incidents of attacks on Hindu worshipping places including Dharmasthala and attacks on Hindu religious leaders, killing of Hindu activists and attack on Ganesh idol immersion procession in Maddur.
" We have appraised imcreased attacks on Hindus in Karnataka since Congress came to power in the state. We have also brought to the Union Home Minister on how appeasement politics adopted by Congress government hurting sentiments of Hindus and failure of police force to maintain law and order, " he said.
To a question on whether you have asked NIA probe into alleges conspiracy against Dharmasthala, he said, " We have never asked particular type of probe. We wanted conspiracy against Hindu religious institutions should be exposed," he said.
