As per a report by Dutch location and mapping tech specialist TomTom, Bengaluru follows London with regard to traffic congestion.

The state government has ordered educational institutions not to close hostels and directed to assure the needed facilities are available for the students.

In a communication released by the Deputy Commissioner Abhiram G Sankar, the state government stated that no college or working women hostel can be closed during the lockdown. In addition, the hostels must provide food and other facilities.
