Parliament Highlights: All eyes on Speaker election tomorrow as Om Birla and K Suresh lock hornsHello dear readers! The second day of the 18th Lok Sabha has been adjourned. NDA seem to have nominated Om Birla to become the Speaker of Lok Sabha again. But, in a surprising turn of events, after no consensus was reached for the post, Congress decided to field their own nominee for the same, K Suresh. This will be the first time in independent India's history that an election will be fought for the Speaker's post. In all earlier occasions, the Speaker was elected unanimously. In the house, during the oath taking ceremony, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi ended his oath with "Jai Palestine", causing ruckus in the house. This was followed a while later by the Bareilly MP Chhatra Pal Singh Gangwar ending his oath with "Jai Hindu rashtra", which caused a further row. Thank you for following along with us for this Lok Sabha session. Stay tuned for more live updates, Indian, World, Political, Business, Sports, Entertainment News and much more!
