Parliament's Winter Session likely to end on December 23
The Winter Session of Parliament is likely to conclude on December 23, a week ahead of schedule, official sources said on Tuesday.
The decision to recommend early conclusion of the session was taken at a meeting of Lok Sabha's Business Advisory Committee chaired by Speaker Om Birla, they said.
Meanwhile, Rajya Sabha has been adjourned till 2 pm.
Lok Sabha MPs raise the issue to Bihar hooch tragedy and demand compensation for victims. They also request the Chair to send central agencies to probe the incident.

Jagdeep Dhankhar says that Rule 267 can't be raised if you can raise an issue through any other rule. He adds that the House would not transact any business with permission from any minister but the permission of the chair. Under Rajya Sabha's Rule 267, any member, can with the consent of the Chairperson, move that any rule may be suspended in its application to a motion related to the business listed before the Council of that day and if the motion is carried, the rule in question shall be suspended for the time being.

During special mentions in the Rajya Sabha, Modi said different laws related to Hindus, Christians and Parsis and the Special Marriage Act 1954 has determined minimum marriage age of 18 years for a woman and 21 years for man but the Muslim Personal Law holds marriage of a girl legal after she has attained puberty.
