Initially the ball was holding a bit but I took my chances and went after it after the pitch eased out. I'm happy I got selected for the Tests in Australia. David Warner: THe game before, we were disappointed with that chase. We defended last game, and with two world-class bowlers in Nortje and Rabada we decided to go after it. I went a little 2009 and opened my front leg to take it on. I took a bit of responsibility at the top of the order, and take it to the bowlers. It's tough to play orthodox cricket in these conditions, so I have to open up 360 degrees. Difficult decision to leave Jonny out and get Saha in, and especially batting a batsman like Kane at 4. Incredible knock from Saha though and his strike-rate in the powerplay was incredible. Unfortunately he's got a little groin niggle but hopefully it isn't too bad. Shankar has a hamstring issue as well. As for Rashid, it is incredible that he's he's taking so many wickets and not going for runs, especially given the dew and the moisture here. We've got games at Sharjah to go so hopefully we can put on a show there.
Shreyas Iyer: Definitely a big loss for us but you can't really bog down from this point of time. We still have two games left but one win is really important, that's what we are waiting for since the last three games. Back-to-back losses is definitely going to put us under the pump. The boys are really strong, really motivated and this loss is definitely going to motivate us. We lost the game in the powerplay itself. Getting 70 runs in the first six overs was really commendable and the way they went after our bowlers was amazing. We need to have that strong and positive mindset. These losses are not going to put us down.

David Warner: I was actually looking to bat first. (on his birthday celebration) I can't understand this cake-in-the face business (laughs), it's quite messy. It was disappointing to lose that last game with a lot of wickets in hand. Three changes - Williamson, Saha and Nadeem in for Bairstow, Garg and Khaleel.
Shreyas Iyer: We'll bowl first. The wicket looks dry and the dew factor coming in later is a factor. That (the trends) definitely goes into our mind but we were constantly batting first in the early part of the tournament. But the wickets have become drier and that's affected our plans. We want to end up in the top-two, and the boys are really motivated. After some bad performances, we sat together and talked about where we went wrong. Same team.

Shikhar Dhawan: He is on a run-scoring spree and recently became the first player to get back-to-back centuries in the IPL. With 471 runs, he has moved to second place on the list of the season’s leading run-scorers. He has shouldered the responsibility of getting runs for the team in every match.

Rashid Khan: With 14 wickets, he is the team’s leading wicket-taker. He bowls tight overs and the batsmen are unwilling to take risks on his bowling. Over the years, he has become one of the most important overseas players in the SRH squad.
DC Threats: They were sure of a top-two finish earlier but now could finish third. They will need to course-correct quickly.
DC Opportunities: DC have a chance to become the first team to qualify for the play-offs.
DC Weaknesses: Prithvi Shaw has been off colour and Rishabh Pant is not yet back to his best after his injury. Only Shikhar Dhawan seems to be in form. The team looked formidable in the initial weeks of the tournament but they are now looking weary. Unless the batting issues are rectified, DC won't be able to lift their maiden IPL title.
DC Strengths: Kagiso Rabada is a bowler who is hungry and gets wickets in every match. He is ably supported by the fiery Anrich Nortje. The spinners R Ashwin and Axar Patel have also been among the wickets. The bowling unit hasbeen able to make up for the shortcomings in the batting departments.
THE SWOT for DC
SRH Threats: They should play for pride and try to avoid finishing last on the points table.
SRH Opportunities: It is near impossible for them to qualify for the play-offs. So, the team should take the field without pressure and give everything in their remaining matches. Warner should take a leaf from MS Dhoni’s book and give players on the bench opportunity to compete.
SRH Weaknesses: The middle order is still weak and inconsistent. Once David Warner, Jonny Bairstow and Manish Pandey departed in the chase against KXIP, the others succumbed under pressure. Abdul Samad, Vijay Shankar, Jason Holder, Priyam Garg and Abhishek Sharma don't have enough IPL experience to take control of the match.
SRH Strengths: David Warner has immense IPL experience and Jonny Bairstow is a match-winner. Kane Williamson is one of the best modern-day batsmen and Rashid Khan is a spinner tailor-made for T20cricket. Newcomer Jason Holder is also a respected and intelligent all-rounder. Unfortunately, there are not enough slots to fit eveyone in.
