Besides the brand-new premium phone OnePlus 13, OnePlus is also expected to introduce an affordable version OnePlus 13R early next month.
The company took to social media platform X to showcase the OnePlus 13R. It will come in two colours- Nebula Noir and Astral Trail.
It is said to feature a slim profile measuring around 8mm in thickness. It will sport a sturdy aerospace-grade aluminium frame around the edges.
Despite the super thin design, the company has confirmed the device will house a massive 6,000mAh battery, which is more than enough to keep the running for two days under normal usage.
Also, the device will come with Corning's latest Gorilla Glass 7i shield on the front and back. It promises to offer better protection against screen scratches.
The upcoming OnePlus 13R device is expected to run Android 15-based OxygenOS 15 and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
Both the OnePlus 13 and 13R are slated to make a global debut on January 7. The company has announced to stream the event online at 9:00 pm IST.
OnePlus will also be launching a new Buds Pro 3 colour variant -Sapphire Blue- with the new premium smartphones.
